Dog and cat boarding kennel where your pets are treated like they were ours!
We have been running the Belchertown Boarding Kennel for about 30 years. We love our "job"! What could be better then to have dogs and cats to play with all day long! Our kennel is an indoor/outdoor kennel meaning that during the spring,summer, fall and sometimes mild days in winter, the dogs can go in and out all day long. We NEVER put dogs together that don't live together. We offer Playtime if you want your dogs to go out in our secure play yard with myself or my husband. We do not put a bunch of dogs out together, it is the dog's time for special attention one on one with us.

What is your primary product or service?
taking care of dogs and cats so their owners can enjoy vacations and not have to worry about their pets
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We were raising German Shepherd Dogs and became friends with the previous owner of the kennel and asked if she would sell it to us as my husband was planning to retire within 5 years and thought it would be great to be able to work with dogs and cats at home
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a mom and pop business so we know our visitors pretty well and their pets know us. This makes it much easier on the pets to see us when they are here rather than a lot of different people
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have the one kennel and do not plan on having other locations. This is a job we do for the love of dogs and cats and really don't want to spread ourselves so thin that we don't get to enjoy our clients
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept cash or checks
Which areas do you service?
Mostly the Amherst, Palmer, Belchertown, Ware, South Hadley but we have people who travel further to use us
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We own the business ourselves and we live on the premises
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
For someone to allow us to care for their pets
