How long have you been in business?
Our agency was incorporated in 1972 under the name"Community Homes for Children." In the late 1980's the agency changed our name to "Nonotuck Resource Associates."
What is your primary product or service?
We provide residential care to individuals who need assistance to remain living in a home. We recruit, train, screen and supervise caregivers. We manage the matching process of helping one person with an impairment move in with a caregiver. We work closely with family members, who are also paid caregivers, through the Adult Family Care model. We provide ongoing case management by a team that includes a Program Director, Assistant Program Director, registered nurse and a clinical support staff.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a statewide agency that can offer a multitude of services. We always establish a field office in the communities we work in. We offer individualized services to people and work very closely with the family members of the people who are receiving services. We are uniquely open to collaborating with other agencies that do the same work we do. We have a shared website called The Shared Living Connector with two other agencies.
